That old stavely feeling

DJ and I awoke this morning feeling more than a little stavely, so we decided to walk the last bit of the Dales Way into Ambleside. We had walked The Dales Way back there in 2010. We rate The Dales Way as the best walk we have done to date. It will be a trip down memory lane.

I walked down to the local delicatessen, The Beehive, and bought two filled baps for our lunch. Baps. Turns out that baps are rolls. Baps.

Also turns out that today is a very rainy day. We got about 500 ft down the track in the heavily pouring rain and decided that it would be better to turn around and go back to the Old Smithy, change into our normal clothes and go for a drive.

So much for that old stavely feeling …
